What is NIMO SKIN?
NIMO SKIN is a webshop aimed at people with sensitive, reactive, and redness-prone skin - including rosacea and perioral dermatitis. We sell skincare products formulated for skin that does not react well to mainstream skincare. All products are selected based on documented effectiveness - and they have also been tested by the founders, who themselves suffer from PD and rosacea.
Is NIMO SKIN Danish?
Yes! NIMO SKIN is a 100% Danish webshop, which also has a Danish warehouse. You are therefore in safe hands when shopping on the site, and you can always expect fast delivery of your orders
Do you have a physical store?
No, NIMO SKIN is exclusively an online shop.
Product
Are the products fragrance-free?
Most products in our range are fragrance-free or formulated with very low levels of well-tolerated ingredients. Each product has a detailed ingredient list on the product page, which we encourage you to review before purchase.
Can I use the products if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
We always recommend clarifying this with your doctor. Certain actives – such as retinol and high concentrations of salicylic acid – are generally not recommended during pregnancy. We list key ingredients on all product pages so you can assess this in consultation with your doctor.
What skin types are the products intended for?
The products in our range are primarily formulated for sensitive, reactive, and redness-prone skin. This includes skin with rosacea, perioral dermatitis, barrier damage, and skin that reacts to strong active ingredients. If you are unsure whether a specific product is suitable for your skin, please feel free to contact us.
Do the products work against perioral dermatitis?
Perioral dermatitis often requires a very gentle and minimal skincare routine. Our products are selected with this in mind – free from strong active ingredients, corticosteroids, and common triggers. We always recommend consulting a doctor or dermatologist during active flare-ups.
Do the products work against rosacea?
Rosacea is considered a chronic condition, and therefore no product can cure the disorder. What we can offer are products formulated to reduce visible redness, support the skin barrier, and minimize triggers – formulated with evidence-based active ingredients. Many of our customers experience a noticeable difference over time, but we never communicate with promises of a complete cure.
Although rosacea is a chronic condition, many of our customers find that with the right routine, they can keep symptoms so well under control that their skin appears unaffected in everyday life. Some customers have, over time, reached a point where they only need to use their products for occasional flare-ups – not daily. It's not a cure, but it is a noticeable improvement in quality of life.
Delivery & returns
What is the delivery cost?
Delivery prices are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. We offer free delivery on orders over DKK 449.
How fast do you ship?
We aim to dispatch orders within 1 business day. If you order before 2 PM, your order will generally be dispatched the same day. You will receive a confirmation with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
When will I receive my order?
If an order is placed before 2 PM on a weekday, it is expected to arrive within 1-2 business days.
Can I return a product?
Yes. You have a 14-day right of return from the date of receipt, in accordance with Danish consumer law. The product must be returned unused and in its original packaging. Please contact us before returning so we can help you through the process.
Can I cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel. If the order has not yet been shipped, we can usually cancel it. If it has already been shipped, you must use our return procedure.
